Our Objectives

GN Ministries (George Ngwenya Ministries) is a South African non-profit organization with a mission to restore the moral and ethical fiber of our society by focusing on the foundational strength of the family structure. We believe that strong, united families are the building blocks of a healthy society, and we are committed to empowering men, supporting those affected by substance abuse, and fostering ethical leadership across all sectors.

Our Story

Founded by Reverend George Ngwenya, GN Ministries was born out of a deep passion for social transformation and a desire to address the challenges faced by families in South Africa. Witnessing the detrimental effects of broken family structures, substance abuse, and a lack of ethical leadership, George envisioned a ministry that would bring hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and communities alike.

Since our inception, GN Ministries has grown into a dynamic organization with a range of impactful programs. Our work is guided by the belief that when men are equipped to fulfill their roles as leaders and protectors within the family, and when individuals struggling with addiction receive the support they need, the ripple effects are felt throughout society.

Our Approach

At GN Ministries, we take a holistic approach to addressing the issues that undermine family and societal well-being. We work closely with individuals and communities through our core programs:

Empowerment of Men: Through our Men In Prayer (MIP) initiative, we create a supportive environment where men can grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, and be encouraged to take an active role in their families and communities.

Rehabilitation and Support: Our Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) provides comprehensive care for individuals battling substance and drug abuse. We offer counseling, skill-building, and spiritual guidance to help them rebuild their lives and rejoin their families and society as whole individuals.

Leadership Development: We believe that ethical leadership is key to societal transformation. Our consulting and training services are designed to instill values-based leadership in government and corporate sectors, promoting integrity and social responsibility.
